Gas prices will go up 14 cents in Montreal on Thursday

Drivers in the city, brace yourselves for some bad news... Gas prices are anticipated to surge by double-digits at the pumps come Thursday.

Yes, you heard correctly, the gas pump price in Montreal is anticipated to rise to 188.9 cents/litre, marking an increase of 14 cents from Wednesday's rate of 174.9 cents/litre.

Gas analyst Dan McTeague from Gas Wizard, released the news update on X earlier today. 

According to McTeague, the last time gas prices were this high was back in August 2022.

Make sure to go fill up now if you don’t want to risk paying 14 cents more tomorrow!
