Late this morning (Apr 12), Environment Canada issued a special weather statement for the Montreal area, warning of possible snow flurries Saturday, followed by a full-on winter storm Sunday and Monday.
Quebeckers can expect a “mixed bag of precipitation and strong winds” this weekend.
Snow changing to freezing rain is highly likely for the Greater Montreal, the Outaouais and the Estrie regions. Areas further north could see significant snowfalls.
The storm is expected to last well into Monday, but it’s unclear what type of precipitation to expect and how much… In the meantime brace yourselves:
