Fans were divided by the "ravioli" dress Sarah Paulson wore to the London premiere of Ocean's 8 on Wednesday night (13Jun18).
The American Horror Story actress was joined by five of her co-stars at a cinema in Leicester Square for a screening of their new heist movie, a spin-off of Steven Soderbergh's Ocean's Trilogy.
For the night, Sarah chose to wear a pale pink tiered dress with scalloped hem from Valentino's fall/winter 2018 collection, which she matched with pink stone earrings from Irene Neuwirth and pink satin platform heels from Brian Atwood.
However, Sarah's sartorial statement quickly caught the attention of social media users, who were split in their opinions over the look.
"Too many scallops. Looks like ravioli," one user wrote on a picture of Sarah posted on her stylist Karla Welsh's Instagram page, while others commented that the dress reminded them of bubble gum tape or the "piece of cloth that comes with a pair of glasses".
Yet, the discussion wasn't all bad, with a number of people praising the 43-year-old for making a bold choice.
"The dress is sooo hers! Great job," one user noted, while another added: "Cotton candy dream!"
The other stars of Ocean's 8 got dressed up for the evening too, with Sandra Bullock rocking a striped sequin jumpsuit from Zuhair Murad and Lorraine Schwartz earrings, Helena Bonham Carter wowed in a silver dress from Vivienne Westwood and Mindy Kaling looked gorgeous in a black gown from Alberta Ferretti which she matched with Brian Atwood heels, a Jimmy Choo purse and Cartier bling.
While Cate Blanchett turned heads in black trousers and a grey feathered top from Louis Vuitton and Rihanna risked a wardrobe malfunction by donning a gold draped dress with plunging neckline from Poiret. She complemented her ensemble with strappy gold high heels, a dark gold clutch as well as a slick of bright red lipstick.
