Amazon Admits “Alexa” is Creepily Laughing at Users

Amazon Admits “Alexa” is Creepily Laughing at Users
Amazon

If you own an Alexa device, it sounds like you’d better make sure it doesn’t know TOO much about you… Like, you know, where you sleep and such…

Reports are coming in that Alexa devices have been creepily laughing at their users, unprompted, for no apparent reason. Users can’t seem to find a way to stop it, and Amazon has even admitted it’s a problem, and is “working on a fix”.

A Twitter user was the first to report this strange behaviour, and posted this video:

BONUS: check out the clever bit Jimmy Kimmel did on Alexa’s “creepy laugh”!
