After the announcement in February about the Montreal Olympic Stadium receiving a new roof, one question arose: "What will become of the old roof?"
The Montreal Olympic Park has recently initiated an international competition to discover the most innovative idea for repurposing and enhancing the old roof, instead of discarding it entirely.
The board is open to utilizing the pieces for various purposes like new construction projects, eco-creative concepts, art installations, and beyond!
To add an element of excitement to the competition, the board has declared that the top ideas will receive monetary rewards, with $80,000 divided into 8 separate cash prizes.
