Ingredients
- 1/2 cup (1 stick) butter, softened
- 1-1/4 cups brown sugar
- 2 eggs, beaten
- 1-1/2 cups pumpkin, canned or cooked
- 1-1/2 cups flour
- 1 tablespoon baking powder
- 1/4 teaspoon ginger
- 1 teaspoon cinnamon
- 1/2 teaspoon nutmeg
- 1/2 teaspoon salt
- 1 cup walnuts, chopped
Instructions
Preheat oven to 400 degrees F. Cream butter and sugar, then mix in eggs and pumpkin. Mix dry ingredients in sifter, then sift into pumpkin mixture. Stir, and add nuts. Drop by spoonfuls onto a baking sheet. Bake for 15 minutes, or until lightly browned.

- 1/4 cup butter, softened
- 1 teaspoon vanilla extract
- 2 cups icing sugar
Directions
Beat cream cheese, 1/4 cup butter, and 1 teaspoon vanilla extract in a bowl with an electric mixer until soft. Beat in icing sugar slowly until smooth. Frost after cookies are cooled.
