Halloween Candy Recalled for Undeclared Allergen

With Halloween fast approaching, safety is a top concern for parents. Now, a major candy recall just a week away from the big day is causing concern. Please help us spread this far and wide to ensure everyone’s safety!

Chocolate sold by the company Original Foods Ltd. under two distinct brand names is being recalled because it contains undeclared milk products. The brands affected are Marshmallow Brooms and MallowBats. Already, one case of a confirmed allergic reaction has been reported by the Canadian Food Inspection Agency (CFIA).

The CFIA is advising people with milk allergies not to consume these products. They can be returned to the point of purchase for a refund.
