A new study’s shocking findings concerning children have raised the alarm - and moms are now asked to come to the rescue! The Ohio study, conducted in a Columbus sleep lab, revealed that only about half of 5-to-12-year-olds were actually woken successfully by the sound of a traditional smoke alarm.

Models featuring a recording of the mother’s voice however, performed much better, cutting down the median time it took for kids to wake up and escape the room from five minutes to just 30 seconds.

Are your kids deep sleepers? Vinny and Nikki talked about it this morning… Listen below in case you missed it!
