Pregnant Amy Schumer has confirmed reports she's in the hospital, revealing she's battling extreme morning sickness.

The comedienne and actress canceled a show in Dallas, Texas after falling ill overnight on Wednesday (14Nov18), and now she has taken to social media to apologize to fans.

Posting a shot of herself in the hospital, she revealed she has been battling hyperemesis gravidarum.

"Texas I am so deeply sorry," she captioned the photo. "I have been really looking forward to these shows. I have to reschedule.

"I am in the hospital. I’m fine. Baby’s fine but everyone who says the 2nd trimester is better is not telling the full story. I’ve been even more ill this trimester."

"I have hyperemesis and it blows," she continued. "Very lucky to be pregnant but this is some bullsh**t! Sending so much love to the doctors and nurses taking great care of me... They are cool as hell! And Texas I am really really sorry and I’ll be out there as soon as I’m better."

Earlier this month, Schumer told Entertainment Tonight her pregnancy had been "really tough" so far, but last week she posted video of herself responding to seeing her baby kick on a sonogram.

"Oh my God, it's moving all around," she exclaimed. "Oh my God. See, it has so much energy, that's why I'm puking every day. Oh my God."

Amy was last in the hospital back in April for a severe kidney infection and spent five days under doctor's care.

She announced the news that she and her husband of nine months, Chris Fischer, were expecting their first child together at the end of last month (Oct18).
