Super Bowl essentials for a GREAT PARTY for your family and friends!
This weekend is Football's biggest moment, so why not make the most of it with your family and friends? For Super Bowl LIII, the New England Patriots (yes, them again!) will play against the Los Angeles Rams. In addition, Maroon 5 will take the big stage for the Half Time show, accompanied by rappers Travis Scott and Big Boi.
But most importantly, the Super Bowl is always a fun excuse to get together and watch TV until a bit later than usual with those closest to you!
Are you hosting the get-together this year? Here are a few tips to make a SUPERB Super Bowl party for the whole family!
HOW TO WATCH
Before your guests arrive, make sure to prepare the TV on GAME channel. Once again, Bell holds exclusive broadcasting rights to the Super Bowl in Canada, so if you're watching on TV, the big game will be available on any one of their channels, but you'll have to watch the Canadian ads...
BUT WHAT ABOUT THE AMERICAN ADS?
Of course, it's the big-budget American ads that attract many of us tune in to see in the first place! But there is good news: a recent CRTC ruling says that TV providers can no longer place Canadian ads on American channels. That means that AMERICAN channels available in Canada will be showing their own ads now! Yay!
American channels broadcasting American ads in Canada:
- CBS
- Fox
- NBC
- Online: DAZN Canada (Through its NFL Game Pass service) - one month free trial available!
