Pop star Sia gave fashion designer Christian Siriano the challenge of a lifetime, asking him to create her wedding dress just two days before her nuptials.
The Chandelier hitmaker, who is notoriously private, has been close friends with Siriano for several years, but she didn't give him much notice when it came to creating her dream gown for her big day back in 2014 - and yet he somehow managed to pull it all off.
Sia and Siriano recalled the last-minute rush they faced in the lead up to her wedding to director Erik Anders Lang at her home in Palm Springs, California, in a joint chat with InStyle magazine.
"'You've got two days to make me a wedding dress!'" she remembered telling Christian. "'We're getting married, like, tomorrow!'"
Luckily, the designer, who rose to fame after winning reality show Project Runway in 2008, was used to working under pressure, and delivered not just once, but twice.
"So he whipped me up two (dresses), which I wore," Sia shared. "It was a great wedding. I felt amazing. I felt really gorgeous. It was such a whirlwind!"
"That was a fun phone call," Siriano quipped.
Neither Sia nor Siriano have revealed what the finished outfits looked like, but despite the bride's joy at how the gowns turned out, the marriage didn't last - she split from Erik in December, 2016.
The singer isn't the only celebrity client Siriano has dressed for their big day - he also provided a custom design for model and actress Lydia Hearst when she tied the knot with comedian Chris Hardwick in August, 2016, and he dressed Orange Is the New Black star Samira Wiley and her partner Lauren Morelli for their nuptials in 2017.
