Spring is here, and after a hard winter, we want to help you make the MOST of the season and prepare for summer!
Is your yard being put to its best use? There are many things you can do to enhance your yard in preparation for the warm season… If you have kids, maybe a swing set of a sandbox will be very popular with the other neighbourhood kids! If you have the space, a trampoline is also lots of fun.
There are also many other ways to enhance your back yard – for example, with a garden bed or by planting a tree. If you’re feeling ambitious, springtime is also the perfect moment to start a patio project!
FURNITURE
Any good yard or patio setup starts with living space- a comfortable area to lounge in is essential, and ideally you should be able to create shade as needed.
Among the local options, Jardin de Ville (12 400 Rue de L’Avenir, Mirabel) and Cameleon Vert (1499 Rue William, Montreal) stand out with beautiful selections of chairs, tables, sunshades and more.

YARD TOYS
Big or small, yard toys are a perfect way to keep your kids entertained and active during the summer, and now is the perfect time to plan your yard layout. Depending on your space and budget, there’s bound to be something to do!
Trampolines: depending on your kids’ ages, you can get a big trampoline for outdoors or a mini one for indoors! Most big ones come with safety nets, such as the one linked above, so you can rest easy while the kids wear themselves out.
Swings: do you have the perfect branch for a swing in your yard? Time to put it to use! This single swing is perfect for that. If you don’t have the “perfect branch”, you could also consider a standalone swing set.
Sandbox: if you have younger kids, a sandbox will be a great way for them to have fun outside and explore their creativity! This model is complete with a sunroof to protect their young, fragile skin from the sun.
