Amy Schumer's a new mum.

The comedienne welcomed her first child, a son, with husband Chris Fischer on Sunday night (05May19), just hours before it was announced Britain has a new royal family member.

"Our royal baby was born," Amy shared on Instagram on Monday.

She revealed she was having a baby boy in a lengthy post on Sunday afternoon, and late on Friday, the Trainwreck star shared an image of her very large naked baby bump on Instagram during a doctor's appointment with her husband.

"Oh yeah does it feel to everyone like I've been pregnant for a long time?" she asked. "It must be getting annoying to you all that I'm still pregnant. Well imagine how I feel mother f**kers!!!!!!"

Amy has had a tough pregnancy, battling extreme morning sickness after being diagnosed with hyperemesis gravidarum, and she recently shared, "It was once explained to me that comparing hyperemesis gravidarum to morning sickness is like having an arrow through your skull and saying it's like just a minor headache."

She shot down premature baby reports last week after news leaked she had become a mum, joking: "Amy is still pregnant and puking", and stating she was still struggling as a mum-to-be because "money rarely goes to medical studies for women such as hyperemesis or endometriosis and instead goes to things like d**ks not getting hard enough or old guys who want harder d**ks."

Amy and chef Chris wed last year (18).
