Isabella Rose Giannulli and Olivia Jade Giannulli, daughters of actress Lori Loughlin and Mossimo Giannulli, have re-emerged on Instagram after six months of radio silence. Both parents were charged in the college admissions scandal last March and pleaded not guilty.
Isabella – @bella on Instagram – posted a picture of herself with her mother late Sunday night, captioned “happy birthday mama. I love you”. Her previous Instagram post dates back to January 26. Olivia added a comment a few hours later, simply saying “my people”.

It was widely reported this spring that the daughters – particularly Olivia – were furious with their parents for their alleged implication in the college admissions bribery scandal. They allegedly paid $500,000 in bribes to guarantee their daughters’ admission to the University of Southern California.
Olivia – oliviajade on Instagram – lost her lucrative influencer partnership with Sephora in the wake of the scandal and reportedly moved out of her parents’ home afterwards to focus on her mental health.
However, Isabella’s post seems to have softened Olivia. Monday morning, she added her own birthday wish to mother Lori on her Instagram: a sweet childhood picture of her and her mother, captioned “one day late. happy birthday. i love you so much”.
Could these new Instagram post be a sign that the family is on track to repairing their relationships? Time will tell. Lori and Mossimo, meanwhile, are set to appear in court on August 27, and are determined to defend themselves. They face up to 20 years in prison if found guilty.
