Prince Harry and Meghan, Duchess of Sussex joined local children in dancing shortly after arriving in Cape Town, South Africa for their royal tour on Monday.
The couple's first visit was to a Methodist church in Nyanga, one of the oldest and largest black settlements in the city, where they were greeted by dancers in traditional costume, as well as enthusiastic kids.
Video footage posted on Twitter by Daily Mail journalist Rebecca English shows the couple greeting a schoolboy and girl and then joining them in a jig - with Harry the more enthusiastic participant. Meghan did, however, give the young boy a hug - and later joined in the dancing.
In a powerful speech delivered from a tree stump, Meghan, whose mother Doria Ragland is African-American, reportedly told the audience: "Just on one personal note, may I just say that while I am here with my husband as a member of the royal family I want you to know that for me, I am here with you as a mother, as a wife, as a woman, as a woman of colour and as your sister. I am here with you and I am here for you."
The couple were in the township to learn about the work of the Justice Desk, a human rights organisation of which Harry is president, and Meghan is vice-president. The organisation teaches children about their rights, self-awareness, safety, and female empowerment training to young girls.
During the visit, the couple's four-month-old son Archie was also honoured by being given his own traditional Xhosa language name, Ntsika, which means, "Pillar of strength".
Harry and Meghan are visiting Africa for 10 days, with baby Archie and his mum staying in South Africa for the duration of the visit, while the Prince visits Angola, Malawi, and Botswana.
