UPDATE 2: The MUHC is holding a press conference on Facebook live. They say systems are coming back, and that it was most likely NOT a hack. Click the link to view the video.
Additionally, an MUHC employee reached out to us, saying NOT all clinical appointments are cancelled, contrary to what the MUHC has said. "I’m not sure why they were so quick in posting that," our source said. "Some [appointments] are [cancelled] and some are not. I would suggest patients call to confirm if they are not sure." Patients can call 514-934-8488 to find out if their appointments are affected.
UPDATE: The MUHC has posted that systems are "returning to normal", but patients should still avoid coming to the ER.

The McGill University Health Centre (MUHC) has cancelled all clinical appointments today and is asking emergency patients to go to other hospitals because it’s dealing with a “major problem with its computer systems”.
The institution announced the news via Twitter today.
More information will be posted as it becomes available.
