Sometimes not all used furniture is good to buy.

  • Used mattresses: Buy a used mattress is not recommended it can also be bad for your health. Especially when you do not know where it comes from. In particular, never buying a crib mattress for an infant from a garage sale or flea market.

  • Heavily used upholstered furniture: It's better to walk away from upholstered furniture. If the sofa or chair has been so used it will be uncomfortable to sit on. Saggy pillows are also not recommended. Although you can always change the fabric, but it can cost a lot to have it done professionally.

  • Furniture that smells: If the furniture smells in general.

  • High-priced furniture: Don't buy any used furniture that is overly priced. A lot of times when buying used furniture the price tag does not reflect the condition of the piece.
