Here is why you shouldn’t force your kids to hug relatives

Did you ever force your children to give their relatives a hug?

Forcing our children to give hugs to particular family members is important to us, but if your child doesn't want to, what are we teaching them about consent?

Allowing our children to assert their own boundaries and respect themselves will allow them to lay a foundation of creating healthy romantic and sexual relationships as they grow older. 

So if your child doesn't like people in their personal bubble, it is okay.
