There are days for shopping and days for self-indulgence… Now, there’s also a day for giving.

Giving Tuesday was started in 2012 as an “antidote” to the buying frenzy that is Black Friday and Cyber Monday. It’s the start of the Holiday “giving season” and it aims to raise lots of money this year!

The “Opening day of the giving season,” it’s a time when charities, companies and individuals join together and rally for favourite causes.

Last year, the online donations to Giving Tuesday alone were over $15 million!! This year, you can help too! Click here to go to givingtuesday.ca and learn how you can donate, volunteer and get involved.

You don’t have to give much! Every little bit counts… But it’s important to help those in need. How will you get involved with Giving Tuesday this year? Head back over to Facebook and let us know in the comments!
