The Holiday season is here, and with it comes a lot of joy, and for most people a lot of stress.
Nikki, Sam and Andy chatted with Lisa Brookman, psychotherapist and co-owner of the West Island Therapy and Wellness Centre to share some of the top causes of stress this time of year and explain why it is perfectly normal to have these feelings. Lisa also gave advice to keep the stress level low, which we hope will help you enjoy the Holidays a bit more!

- The pressure of living up to other people's expectations, to be at everyone's party, competing with other people's parties;
- Spending a lot of money;
- A lot of work to constantly be "on";
- Lack of time;
- Giving & receiving gifts.
How to REDUCE stress:
- Take time for yourself during the holidays;
- Set boundaries, give what you can and take care of yourself when you need to;
- Volunteer, giving back reduces aniexty and depression;
- Keep your routine going; go to the gym, eat healthy.
