Demi Lovato came prepared to impress at the GRAMMYs Sunday night. Her performance, the first since her overdose in the summer, of 2018, drew a standing ovation and more than a few tears from the crowd at Microsoft Theatre in L.A.
“Anyone” was written by Lovato just 4 days before her overdose, and she now describes it as a cry for help, even though she didn't see it that way.
The performance, which you can watch here on CSTAR's YouTube account, drew tears from everyone watching. After a false start, Demi proved her singing abilities are just as powerful as ever, and this new song's powerful meaning couldn't have left a dry eye, even if the performance hadn't been incredible.
It wasn't incredible – it was stellar!
Demi returns to the big TV stage February 2 – that's next Sunday. She'll be singing the Star Spangled Banner at Super Bowl LIV at Hard Rock Stadium in Miami.
