2020 has kicked off with a HUGE bang for Billie Eilish, who just absolutely CLEANED UP the GRAMMY Awards with 5 wins from 6 nominations. Eilish won Sunday night in all four major categories (Record and Album of the Year, Song of the Year and Best New Artist). She also picked up a GRAMMY for Best Pop Vocal Album.
Eilish's smash hit "Bad Guy" was in large part responsible for the young singer's success at the GRAMMYs. The song's viral success led to a remix with Justin Bieber, after which it really took off... "Bad Guy" won Record of the Year and Song of the Year.
After releasing her full-length début "When We All Fall Asleep, Where Do We Go?" in march of 2019, Eilish quickly soared to superstardom with her signature bizarre style and captivating performances. However, some question her admissibility as a "New Artist" because she has previously released singles and EPs as far back as 2016, although never under a major label.
Billie Eilish is now officially the youngest artist ever to win Album of the Year.
