Here are a few tips on how explain to your kids about the Coronavirus.
- Find a comparison to the virus eg: influenza.
- Tell your children how important it is to wash your hands.
- Let them know that making sure their hands are clean before touching their face or mouth is important not only because of the virus but also for other germs that go around.
- Help your child understand the virus and not just believe what other children are saying about it.
- Always stay calm. Your children can sense if you are feeling anxious about something.
