Spring forward is a hard change on the body at least for the first few days; one less precious hour of sleep can affect your body. Here are a few tips on how to ease your body make the adjustment to the new light, dark cycle.

  • Make sure to get up early this weekend, and catch the morning sun.
  • Make your weekend this weekend a little shorter by being home a little earlier.
  • RELAX both physically and mentally.
  • Turn your clocks forward Saturday morning instead of Sunday morning.
  • Try to keep you sleep cycle of a full 8 hours.

How daylight saving time can also  effect your kids. A new survey finds that:

  • 37% of parents dread the time change.
  • 44% says it makes their kids cranky.
  • 26% say that when the clock changes, they feel the need to drink a gallon of coffee.
  • 1 out of 4  parents would rather take a long flight or car trip with the kids than deal with Daylight Saving Time.
