Want to save money? Shop alone.

A recent study has found that single shoppers purchase 65% less if they are shopping alone than if they were to be shopping with friends or family. 38% spend more on groceries when shopping with your significant other and 30% spend more when shopping with kids.

Here are 4 advantages to why you should shop alone:

• You are less influenced by what other people are buying.
• There is less pressure to spend in general.
• You'll save money on lunch breaks or unnecessary stuff. (Coffee doesn't count ;))
• You'll avoid comparing items.
