Visiting a cabane à sucre (sugar shack) is a yearly tradition for families and friends living in Quebec and in the North East. It’s hard not to love those warm, welcoming log cabin serving potatoes, pancakes, bacon, sausage, beans and other staple foods… All of it, of course, copiously lathered in maple syrup!
