Do you religiously place your ketchup in the fridge in the hope of making it last longer?

A survey conducted by the independent consumer choice organization says you're just taking up unnecessary space. One in five people check the labels on their favorite condiments to see where they should be stored. One of the main condiments making the list is ketchup. According to the experts it is safe to keep in the cupboard. 

In the cupboard

  • Tomato Ketchup
  • Steak Sauce
  • Honey
  • Pickle
  • Olive oil
  • Soy Sauce
  • Malt Vinegar
  • Hot Pepper Sauce
  • Worcestershire Sauce


In the fridge

  • Mayonnaise
  • Pesto
  • Salad dressing
  • Maple Syrup
  • Tartare Sauce
