Working from home, may be a little bit harder to get into the routine of things. Do you stay in your pajamas? Do you feel a little more tired at the end of your day? Here are a few tips to help you get into the routine of working from home.

KEEP ROUTINE:
Just because you are not commuting to work doesn't mean you shouldn't keep your morning routine or at least make a new one. Make sure to keep the mindset I am going to work.

MAKE YOURSELF AN OFFICE, OR WORKSPACE:
Although it's tempting to work in bed or on the couch, it is not always the best way to work. if you don’t have a desk, you can use your kitchen table to make if feel like you are at the office. Set aside long periods of time for work. Working from home may cause you to lose track of time so make sure to keep track even if you have to put timers on your phone in case you get carried away.

LEAVE YOUR HOUSE:
Even though we are all self-isolating at home, getting some fresh air will help. Open your windows, go for a short walk, and be sure to wash your hands when you get back.

TO-DO LIST FOR THE DAY:
Make sure to keep a to-do list for your day. Getting distracted may be easy when you are home. It is best you set goals for your day. Don’t procrastinate.

STAY CONNECTED:
Just because you are home doesn't mean you cannot star connected with you colleagues. Besides email and messaging pick up the phone or video chat with them.

URGE THE FIGHT TO MULITASK:
Being home may seem convenient for your household chores. You can easily get distracted. Start a load of laundry, clean the fridge. Don't let your chores distract you because you will then find yourself working longer hours because your work didn't get done.

PREPARE FOR DISTRACTIONS:
If you have kids you will defiantly have distractions. It will be difficult but it is not impossible. Get help if you can, if not make a strike schedule and stick to it. Explain to your kids that you will need to work and when you take a break you will help them with what they need. If you job allows if maybe have more flexible hours in this case.
