Prime Minister Justin Trudeau stated that the Canada-U.S. border is likely to close to non-essential travel by this weekend.

There was talk that nothing is off the table to keep Canadians safe. Trudeau is open to using war measures to produce supplies also known as the "Defense Production Act", which allows government to direct companies to make essential products.

A week into self-isolation, Trudeau's best advice is for all Canadians who are out of the country to come home. To keep social distancing, wash your hands as this may be the reality for not just weeks but months.
