Food Banks, like Head and Hands, Sun Youth and Share the Warmth, are getting some help from some surprising places!

The mayor is sending City employees to help with the Volunteer shortage, but with so many people staying home, the food banks are also having a hard time collecting donations - so restaurants and schools are getting creative.

Restaurants, who are now limited to pick up and deliveries, are sending their overstock and since schools have been closed, at least 15 Montreal area institutions have sent over their palettes of milk.

As we get through this tough time, the need for Food Banks will only increase, so if you have any creative ways to lend a hand, don't be shy to reach out - give your local Food Banks a call!
