Prime Minister Justin Trudeau has announced today that the government financial assistance will come as the pandemic continues. The first 82 billion dollar aid package is set to flow as soon as it passes parliament.

Trudeau, has confirmed that the plan the government has agreed upon combines both Emergency Care Benefit and Emergency Support Benefit — into the Canada Emergency Response Benefit (CERB). It will provide Canadians with up to $2,000 a month for the next 4 months for those who are off work and without an income.
