Legault, announces Sunday closures

Quebec Premier François Legault, gives Quebec the more recent assessment of the pandemic in Quebec, reports a total of 3,430 cases  342 new cases from yesterday. 25 deaths, 6 200 people waiting for results and 56 285 people with a negative result. Premier Legault said despite a marked increase in cases, the number of hospitalizations remains under control in the province. He also said that the number of people infected was under the projections of public health authorities.

 

Quebec also launched its online platform on Monday to allow students to continue their activities despite the suspension of classes.

Legault also stated that all commercial stores will be closed on Sundays. The only stores that will remain open on Sunday's are Pharmacy's, Depanneurs, Gas stations and Restaurants for take-out.
