Premier Legault added limited travel and additional checkpoints for four new regions

Quebec now has 4,611 confirmed cases that is 449 more cases since yesterday. A total of 33 deaths that is 2 more than yesterday. 307 people are in the hospital and 82 people are in intensive care.

Two weeks ago, the government recommended that Quebecers avoid traveling from one region to another or from one city to another, except when necessary. Now Premier Legault added limited travel and additional checkpoints for four new regions in Quebec.

  • Outaouais

  • Laurentides

  • Lanaudière

  • Mauricie.

The government of Quebec says that there is over 519 confirmed cases at residence home. In order to limit the cases from spreading Legault and public health officials are limiting entry and exit. Also they are offering the staff if they can to stay at a hotel in the meantime, which the federal government will pay.
