Public-Transit allowing you to suspend your subscription without penalty

Do you purchase a yearly public transport pass?  Public-Transit companies in Montreal region are allowing you to suspend your subscription without penalty.

The ARTM announced in a news release Wednesday that any payments made in March for April ‘Opus’ passes will be applied once the state of emergency is lifted and those who already purchased April for May will also be suspended.

The transport companies are to contact subscribers via email to direct them to the website where they can make the request to suspend their subscription. There is no need to call .The ARTM said to avoid long waits on the phone.

As for those who have already suspended your passes you will have to buy tickets in order to use public transport.
