Mont-Royal Park and Île Notre-Dame Parking Lots Close Completely

After public parks and green spaces were heavily frequented by Montrealers over the last couple days, the city has decided to completely close the parking lots of Mont-Royal Park as well as Île Notre-Dame.

Following the instructions of the Quebec government with regards to banning all public gatherings, Montreal police will be intervening as locals continue to gather across the city and ignore social distancing protocols as the weather continues to improve.

The Atwater pedestrian bridge is also closed for an indefinite amount of time.
