Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced the federal government came to an agreement with all provinces and territories to top up wages for essential COVID-19 front-line workers.

The federal government is budgeting to $3 billion dollars to be given out across the country to those who are working extremely hard and making very low wages.

Trudeau also said 670 Canadian Armed Forces members are here helping in about 20 Montreal homes,  by next week it will be 1250 at 25 homes.

He also announced Snowbirds will be flying over landing in Montreal around 1:45PM (they leave for the Ottawa area at 4:15) The Snowbirds, the Royal Canadian Air Force air acrobatics team, will continue their morale-building tour of Canada on Thursday with fly-bys scheduled for Montreal and Quebec City.

Greyhound Canada will halt all of its bus routes in Canada starting next Wednesday, May 13, because of the coronavirus.
