Prime Minister Justin Trudeau just confirmed money for seniors is on the way.  Those who get old age security will get an additional onetime payment of 300 dollars, and those eligible for the guaranteed income supplement will get an extra 200 dollars, if you get both, well, you’ll get both, for a total of 500 dollars – The direct supports will be worth $2.5 billion and are expected to help 6.7 million older Canadians.

Some good news for the hard hit borough of Montreal North - The COVID-19 walk-in screening clinic at the Montreal North CLSC, was supposed to close yesterday, but it will now stay open until Thursdays or until the mobile screening clinics are set up on Thursday.  Montreal-North residents who need it can also make an appointment at the COVID-19 screening clinic at the RDP Hospital.

Quebec has had over 38 thousand cases of COVID-19, 3 thousand and 13 people have died and almost 10 thousand people have recovered. The province’s daily briefing is scheduled for 1pm.
