Prime Minister Justin Trudeau announced this morning that details are on the way for the almost one billion dollar Regional Relief and Recovery Fund for businesses in remote, rural and tourism regions. He also mentioned that students and grads can start applying for the Canada Emergency Student Benefit as of this Friday

Something else the Prime Minister touch on was news that Health Canada has given the go head on a serological test for COVID-19 antibodies – the plan is to collect and test at least one million Canadian blood samples over the next two years. Trudeau called it a crucial step for The COVID-19 Immunity Task Force.

Lakeshore General Hospital is dealing with yet another COVID-19 outbreak – this time, in a clean, or cold, zone on the hospital’s third floor. Lakeshore is a designated centre for COVID-19 patients and they have 76 confirmed cases at the hospital.
