A group of about 30 doctors and health experts are calling on the Quebec government to make wearing masks mandatory in closed and crowded public spaces.
The experts believe masks could help keep the number of COVID-19 infections down and maybe even avoid that potential second wave. Quebec's public health director Dr. Arruda says they’re not excluding making masks mandatory but want give people time to get used to wearing them first and they are looking into the latest studies available.
