There’s a new interactive map online designed to help Canadians travel during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Created by the Canadian Travel and Tourism Roundtable with the goal of promoting safe travel, the extremely user-friendly map allows users to enter the location from where they’re travelling from and then shows travellers the results of where they can travel to in Canada.

“As we re-open the front doors of our homes and businesses, we need to open our country,” the website reads. “As Canadians, we wait all year to travel during the summer. We need the summer.”

The map page also keeps a running list of international destinations now open to Canadian travellers. Currently, the list includes Mexico, Dubai, Portugal, and Jamaica. The site notes that these are the countries that Canadians can currently travel to with little to no restrictions.

The Canadian Travel & Tourism Roundtable is comprised of leaders across the travel and tourism industry – with representatives from airlines, airports, hotels, and chambers of commerce across Canada.
