Thirty people infected with COVID-19 have visited at least nine bars in Montreal

Public Health announced Tuesday afternoon that about thirty people infected with COVID-19 have visited at least nine bars in Montreal.

Dr. David Kaiser, from the Direction de la santé publique de Montréal, spoke on Saturday to ask all those who went to a bar or club in Montreal since July 1” to be tested for COVID- 19.

Over 3000 people went to two Montreal screening clinics in two days, which jumped the number of tests "by more than 50%". Of this number, 3% are positive. All tests and positive cases, we of the age group of 20 to 39. Majority of the people whom tested positive are asymptomatic, therefore without any symptoms.
