They pushed the deadline to June 1st, but if you still haven’t filed your tax returns, you could have problems getting some of your benefits.

According to the Canada Revenue Agency, about two million Canadians can expect an interruption in their provincial and municipal benefits if they don't get their 2019 tax return filed ASAP.

As it stands they are using the 2018 returns to estimating benefits for the July 2020 to June 2021 benefit period but it’s not accurate, to make sure the funds keep flowing, get the paper work done.
