The Quebec government revealed there are 5,670 people who have died of COVID-19 in Quebec, as of Wednesday. However, the number of fatalities remains unchanged from the 5,670 deaths reported Tuesday.
COVID-19 cases in the province did increase by 176 in the past 24 hours. According to Santé Quebec, there are now 59,073 cases reported in the province, 190 hospitalizations, and nine patients in the ICU— a decrease of three from the 193 reported Tuesday.
For the second day in a row, a technical glitch has prevented Quebec from reporting an updated number of people who have recovered from COVID-19.
