The Quebec Government lifted the ban yesterday on festivals and events in Quebec with certain health measures put into place.

Organizers can now begin organizing events but must follow the comings and goings on their site to make sure they are a maximum of  250 people. Wearing a mask is mandatory and staying 2 metres apart or sitting 1.5 metres apart will be the new rules.

Caroline Proulx – Tourism Minister stated that Quebec festivals and event organizers are professionals and will be able to plan a successful event and comply to the new rules.
