Anyone worried about how they look in a mask, a small study out of the states has found that people who wore face masks were thought of as more attractive.

The project, called “Beauty and the Mask,” had the participants rate people without a mask, then again with one. The faces that were previously categorized as “unattractive” reportedly saw the most improvement in their average rating at 42 percent.

Just goes to show that while most of us say the eyes are one of the strongest influencers of judgments of attractiveness - This study suggests that aspects of the lower face also play an important role in perceptions of attractiveness.
