35 kids in a Grade 7 class at Collège Français Annexe Secondaire in Longueuil were sent home yesterday morning because a father of one of the children in the class tested positive for COVID-19.

Looking back the authorities now say they didn’t need to send the whole class home and the children can return to school today.

Overall the education minister says things are going well, private schools and the French system technically started yesterday; English School Boards’ start Monday.
