Aging is a process that most people would like to slow down. And while aging is inevitable, increasing the human lifespan and slowing the aging process has been a focus of scientific research for decades.
There have been plenty of supplements with anti-aging properties that have been recommended by nutritionists and other health experts including epigallocatechin gallate (the well-known polyphenol compound concentrated in green tea); Crocin (a popular and expensive spice that’s commonly used in Indian and Spanish cuisine) and of course, Collagen, which is promoted as a fountain of youth for its potential to reduce the appearance of skin aging. But what if there was a pill that could push back the ageing process— a medicine that could immediately stop your body from aging?
Indeed, it has been suggested that an "anti-ageing pill" is just around the corner, but if you could take a pill that prevented your body from getting older, at what age would you take the pill?
It’s a question Cat Spencer recently asked on the drive home show and it’s a question that received plenty of feedback from listeners.
