I’m sure you’ve heard this many times before but there are way too many streaming services and trying to keep up with all of the new shows and movies to watch is a daunting task.
That’s why we’ve compiled a shortlist of things we recommend watching this weekend. While not all of these shows will satisfy everyone's tastes, there is at least something for everyone.

The Boys | Amazon, Friday
The Boys Season 2 will premiere on Amazon Prime Video with the first three episodes on September 4, and new episodes will follow each Friday, culminating in an epic season finale on October 9.
Synopsis:
The even more intense, more insane Season 2 finds The Boys on the run from the law, hunted by the Supes, and desperately trying to regroup and fight back against Vought. In hiding, Hughie (Jack Quaid), Mother’s Milk (Laz Alonso), Frenchie (Tomer Capon), and Kimiko (Karen Fukuhara) try to adjust to a new normal, with Butcher (Karl Urban) nowhere to be found. Meanwhile, Starlight (Erin Moriarty) must navigate her place in The Seven as Homelander (Antony Starr) sets his sights on taking complete control. His power is threatened with the addition of Stormfront (Aya Cash), a social-media-savvy new Supe, who has an agenda of her own. On top of that, the Supervillain threat takes center stage and makes waves as Vought seeks to capitalize on the nation’s paranoia.
Mulan | Disney Plus, Friday
After months of delays, Disney’s mega-budget live-action remake of Mulan has ditched cinemas altogether and instead will be available to stream on Disney Plus.
Synopsis:
Young Mulan is distraught to learn that her weak father must join the army to fight the invading Huns. Unwilling to endanger his life, she disguises herself as a man and joins the army in his place.
I'm Thinking of Ending Things | Netflix, Friday
The first film from writer-director Charlie Kaufman since 2015's Anomalisa is an adaptation of Iain Reid's novel starring Jessie Buckley, Jesse Plemons, Toni Collette, and David Thewlis.
Synopsis:
Despite second thoughts about their relationship, a young woman (Jessie Buckley) takes a road trip with her new boyfriend (Jesse Plemons) to his family farm. Trapped at the farm during a snowstorm with Jake’s mother (Toni Collette) and father (David Thewlis), the young woman begins to question the nature of everything she knew or understood about her boyfriend, herself, and the world. An exploration of regret, longing and the fragility of the human spirit, I'm Thinking of Ending Things is directed and written by Academy Award winner Charlie Kaufman (Eternal Sunshine Of The Spotless Mind).
Away | Netflix, Friday
If you’re a fan of movies like Interstellar, Gravity, The Martian, First Man, or even Ad Astra, you might be interested in Away.
