In a new video for British Vogue, the Australian actress carefully detailed every item she keeps in her Chanel backpack.
But while Margot undoubtedly has access to any of the pricier lip products on the market, she actually uses Bepanthen Nappy Care Ointment to keep her pout soft and moisturised.
“This is Bepanthen - it’s an antiseptic cream technically for babies’ nappies and stuff, but I use it as a lip balm and it’s really good,” the 31-year-old explained.
Margot went on to name her diary, notepad, iPhone, perfume, and a pack of cards as some of her handbag essentials.
But perhaps more unusually, the Birds of Prey star revealed that she always travels with a stash of her favourite teabags.
“I’m a massive loser and carry a bag of teabags around with me because I like a very particular brand of tea – Dilmah. I love America, but it’s hard to get a good cup of tea in America sometimes,” she smiled.
Elsewhere in the conversation, Margot warned fans to be careful not to mix up bottles of face mist and hand sanitiser like she has accidentally done in the past.
“This is an Aesop one. I love the Caudalie one too. Although, I have to say, deceivingly similar shape and size to my hand sanitiser and I have made that mistake,” she laughed.
