Pharrell Williams and Anna Wintour are joining forces to co-host a party to celebrate the Paris Olympic Games.
The Louis Vuitton men's creative director and Vogue editor-in-chief have teamed up with LVMH Chairman Bernard Arnault and Comcast NBC Universal chairman Brian Roberts to throw a star-studded event at the Fondation Louis Vuitton on the eve of the opening ceremony later this month.
A series of famous actors, musicians and athletes are expected to attend including Charlize Theron, Serena Williams, Rosalia and Omar Sy.
"It's an honour for me to co-host this very special event with Anna, Mr Arnault, and Brian the night before the momentous Opening Ceremony," Pharrell said in a statement. "The Olympics are a celebration of diversity, humanity, and creativity - all of which bring us closer together as one human race."
He added: "The Olympics are a humbling reminder that there is so much more that unites us than divides us. There is so much beauty in sport, and we will be celebrating this joyous time in a very special way."
Guests can expect to be entertained with interactive installations and games including archery, basketball and table tennis. Michelin-starred chef Jean Imbert will serve up food, while cocktails will be provided by Moët Hennessy.
Pharrell has thrown himself into celebrating the French capital hosting the Olympic Games.
His latest Louis Vuitton menswear show offered a unique blend of Olympic inspiration and global diversity when it was unveiled at Paris Fashion Week in June.
LVMH has designed outfits for the volunteers who will present medals to winning athletes, while Louis Vuitton has designed the trays holding the medals during the Olympic and Paralympic Games in Paris.
